Daisy Dodge is a writer living in her native New Orleans. Her fiction has appeared in StoryQuarterly, her poems are forthcoming in Red Mountain Review, and her experimental prose collection, Terra Incognita, was recently selected as a semifinalist for fc2's 2007 Innovative Fiction Award. She is at work on a prose collection about New Orleans and its environs titled Wade in the Water: Notes fron An American Island.

She recently co-authored Night+Day New Orleans, a travel guide in the Pulse Guides Night+Day Cool Cities series. A graduate of the University of Virginia and University of Alabama's MFA program and a former managing editor of Black Warrior Reviw, she has taught writing at University of California, University of Alabama, and Delgado Community College in New Orleans.
